The definition of Heartmade is anything that you make with the idea of bringing happiness to the receiver of that particular item or gift whether it’s a customer, a family member, a best friend or even for yourself. With that being said, I will include the occasional non crochet and knit items on this blog. Today is a perfect example.
A few weeks ago I was looking for a new recipe for bars. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I will find a recipe and if I get “good reviews” I will use that same recipe over and over and over again. I needed a change from the same old thing. It was my turn to bring bars for the coffee hour after church a couple of weeks ago and I tested this recipe (originally found on Pinterest) that day. It was a big hit!! Several people asked for the recipe, so I thought I would share it here as well. But I must caution you, these things are addicting – haha!
Simple S’More Bars
Using a 5 qt. dutch oven on med. low heat, melt 1/4 cup butter. Add a 10 oz. bag of marshmallows and melt those. When they are completely melted, remove from heat and add 6 cups Golden Grahams cereal and mix well. Add 1 cup chocolate chips and mix those in as well. Press into 9 x 13 greased pan then sprinkle about another 1/2 cup chocolate chips on top. Super simple and super yummy!
